How are Hired Assets added?

Users can add them manually or SitePlant can have them Automatically Added.

Just put us in touch with your hire providers and we will get “Live Hire Reports” emailed to us automatically which populate your Asset List.

What about Plant Managers and Storemen?

Plant Managers and Storemen have their own dedicated App to quickly move assets by scanning the QR Codes.

It also details the “pickups” ready at Jobsites or requests for equipment from Foremen.

How does GPS tracking work?

SitePlant has various trackers to suit your plant and equipment – whether wired, plug-in or battery.

Bluetooth BLE tags can also be attached to equipment to automatically check out to Jobsites.

We can also connect directly to leading manufacturers telematics feed to utilise the tracker already embedded on the machine.

How do employees check out equipment?

Employees do not even have to have the SitePlant app downloaded – which is often a sticking point with temporary employees.

They just scan the QR code and enter their 4 digit PIN number, the Asset is then checked out to them.

Can I upload third party inspections to keep track of expiry dates? i.e. LOLER/Ga1's?

Yes, inspections can be uploaded in bulk to the system.

Tax, insurance, warranties, etc., can be uploaded against Assets to ensure that they do not expire. Notification alerts remind you in advance.

Can I import data from an existing system that we use for Asset Management?

Yes, we have workflows available to make this seamless and get you up and going as soon as possible.

Is SitePlant industry-compliant?
